The Past Way of Facing the Future by Elder L. Tom Perry describes how we can utilize knowledge from previous experiences to further the kingdom of God, as he shared that the shipbuilders did in building the roof of the Manti temple.
Our job is to assist missionaries and we do that by furthering our knowledge and utilizing the gifts we have been given to share the Gospel. This is why Heavenly Father gave us all different gifts and why it is so important that we work on developing them into all that they can be.
