When the second session began with The Sustaining of Church Officers, Presented by President Henry B. Eyring, Brad and I were driving to the airport to pick up my mom, because I am such a good planner :)
It was the first time I was ever in the car for the sustainings. I really wasn't sure what to do but Brad showed me that we demonstrate our support even while in the car. So for every vote we raised our arms to show our support. It was quite a great feeling! People driving past I'm sure had no idea what was going on, and if they did I secretly hoped they would join with us.
I know that our votes were counted and I am glad that we proudly sustained our leaders even though we were not physically in the room with them.
